We are delighted at your interest in our backyard farmstead! Our goal is to balance the demands of the farmstead with the opportunity to share farm experiences. Despite your collection of talents that might enable you to contribute good work during your farm experience, there are a number of costs associated with making the farmstead available for touring. The animals well-being is of utmost concern and all monies raised go directly into providing for their care. This animal care combined with availability of safe farmstead touring are all part of why we suggest a monitary donation for you to participate in farm experiences here at Almosta Farmstead.
Children under 10 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for all experiences. We cannot handle any pets as part of tours or experiences. This is a working farmstead with all of its joys and hazards—please be careful and respect the signs, fencing and livestock. We ask that all participants respect the directions and boundaries set by the farmsteaders during your time with us.
Donation suggestions vary by activity, length and size of group. Contact us for exact donation suggestions for your preferred activities. All activities are done at your own risk. We recomend sturdy work shoes and play/work clothes for attire.
